How do I reset my password?
If you need to reset your password, click here. Type your email address into the box provided and click ‘Reset password’. You will then be sent an email containing a link which will allow you to change your password.
I still haven’t received my password email

How do I change my email address?
If you would like to change the email address on your account, our customer services team will be able update this. Contact the team via this form.
How do I ensure I am getting emails from Central Banking?
Sometimes our emails are blocked due to the security settings at your organisation. To fix this, your IT department will need to add Central Banking as a safesender and ensure we are whitelisted. All the details needed can be found here.
Registration
Am I eligible to register for free?
Anyone with a business email address, can sign up. Please note if you already benefit from a paid subscription or membership your do not need a registration. Your subscription or membership provides uninterrupted intelligence - registered access is for those wanting to trial our content.
How much does it cost to register?
The registration is free and provides users with a taster of Central Banking coverage, giving users a sample of how they could benefit from full access.
What content can I access with my free registration?
Registration allows users access to two news or journal articles a month. Benchmarking and the directory are not accessible through free registration.
Uninterrupted access and premium benefits will require a paid subscription or membership. Find out more here.
How long does the registration last?
Registrations do not expire, but only provide a sample of Central Banking content.
Activating your registration
Once you have submitted the registration form you will receive an email with an activation link. Click on the link to start your access.
What to do if you haven’t received your activation email
Please check your junk folder and make sure you have entered your email correctly. If you still haven’t received an activation email after 30 minutes, please reach out to our customer services via this form.
Packages
What is the difference between packages?
Central Banking offers two different packages that cater for different user needs:
Central Banking Institute Membership – exclusive to central banks, includes access to news, benchmarking, professional development and events.
Central Banking Subscription – includes the latest news, directory and journal features.

How long are a Central Banking subscription or CBI membership for?
Both Standard subscriptions and Central Banking Institute memberships last 12 months from the order date.
How can I upgrade my access?
To upgrade your access contact the team via this form. Someone will be in touch shortly to discuss your options.
What are my payment options?
You can pay for a single user subscription by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
Alternatively, you can request an invoice or pay via BACS transfer. For any of these options or multi-user access and memberships just get in touch using this form.
Online access will only be granted upon receipt of payment. Please note that your access will not commence until full payment has been received.
Multi-user packages
Can my organisation sample multi-user access?
We offer demo's for organisations looking for multi-user access. A demo will allow us to better understand your needs and showcase you the full benefits of our packages.
How much does multi-user access cost?
There isn’t a set price for multi-user access. This is dependent on your needs – this includes the content you wish to access, how many users and your delivery preferences.
Can multi-user access span multiple offices?
Yes, it can – there’s no limit to how many of your offices can be incorporated into an agreement.
All we need to know is which offices you want to include, and who the users are within them.
How do I take out multi-user access?

Is there a limit to the number of users that can be included?
No, there is no cap on multi-user licenses. We have small contracts with companies for three users, whilst others have institutional access for all their employees.

Newsletters
How do I sign up for newsletters?
Sign up for Central Banking newsletters.
Fill in your details, tick the boxes of the email newsletters you wish to receive, and at the bottom of the page click on ‘Sign up’. Please note, most of our newsletters are only availble to paying members or subscribers.
How do I unsubscribe from newsletters?
To unsubscribe from newsletters simply click on the unsubscribe link that is at the bottom of the newsletter you no longer wish to receive.
You can also do this in the my account section.
Can I edit which newsletters I receive?
To edit which newsletters you receive, visit ‘My account’ on the top-right corner of the page. Then simply click on the ‘Newsletters’ tab and you will be able to edit your preferences.
Follow Topics
What are Follow Topics?
Follow Topics enable you to pick between a wide range of topics that you'd like to be notified about when we publish new articles.
How do I set up Follow Topics?
Relevant ‘Follow Topic tags’ appear on the left hand side of all Central Banking articles. Simply click on a tag and it’ll automatically be added to your list of ‘Follow Topics’. You can also see the full list of topics at centralbanking.com/following.
How often do I receive updates on the topics I follow?
You can choose the frequency at which you would like to receive alerts on your chosen Follow Topics by clicking here and then select either daily or weekly, alternatively you can deselect both options to stop receiving updates.
Can I edit my Follow Topics?
To edit which topics you follow and how often you receive them, visit ‘My account’ on the top-right corner of the page. In the ‘Follow Topics’ tab, you will be able to edit your preferences.
How do I know which topics I am following?
You are able to find out which topics you are following by going onto ‘my account’ and then ‘follow topics’. Any topics you follow will appear here.
Is there a way to stop receiving Follow Topic updates?
Yes, you can do this by deselecting your Follow Topics or clicking here to change how often you receive updates. Please make sure you save your preferences.
Apps
What devices is the app available on?
The app is available on both Android and Apple smartphones and tablets.
How do I install the app?
Open the app store and search for Central Banking. Tap on the ‘GET’ button and the app will then download and appear on the home screen of your device. Open the app, log in using your username and password and start browsing the content.
What are the log-in details for the app?
To log into the app, please use your email address and password that you use for the Central Banking website.
If you are part of a multi-user access agreement and do not have a personal log-in, please contact us for log-in details to be set up.
Is the app free?
The app is free to download but you have to be a subscriber to view the content.
I am already a subscriber or member, is the app included?
Yes, app content is available for Central Banking subscribers and Central Banking Institute members.
Why won’t the content in the app update?
- Ensure that your device is connected to either a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G/5G network
- Check that you have enough storage space on your device
- Check that you have the latest version of the app installed (use the app store app on your device to see if there’s an update available to download)
- Ensure you have a compatible operating system installed
Will I only have access to the latest articles via the app?
You’ll be able to access all articles in the app. Every article you download will remain on your device, building up a library you can access at any time.
Print
When will I receive my print issues?
If print is included in your package the first issue you receive will be the upcoming one.Our print Journal is printed every three months, this will typically be delivered on the following months:
- September
- December
- February
- May
. However, please allow an extra week if you are receiving your print issue outside of the UK.
How do I order back issues or additional copies?
To order a back issue or additional copies, please contact the team via this form.
I would like to change the mailing address
If you would like to change your mailing address for your print publication, our customer services team will be able to update this. Contact the team via this form.
How do I claim for any missed issues?
Please contact customer services as soon as possible, stating the subscription number and the cover date of the issue you are missing.
Note: our period for claiming a missing Central Banking issue is within the last six months and the period for a Central Banking Journal is within the last year. This is to ensure we have the issues in stock and so we can look into the problem further.
